New Wave EP (2003)

AM Radio (2001)

This album of demos was recorded in September of 2001 with Joe Barresi after the band had been together only a few weeks! The album sold well over 2,000 copies, in the U.S. and Japan, but is now out of print.

'Taken For A Ride' Promotional Single (2003)

This CD was released in April of 2003 for promotional purposes only. The only track on this CD is the radio edit of "Taken For a Ride", and the single was only distributed to radio and press. However, a couple of copies were offered through AM Radio's Street Team site to reward our loyal fans.

Radioactive College Sampler (2003)

This sampler was a promotional release for college radio stations, featuring four tracks from AM Radio's album, RADIOACTIVE. Those with the finest-tuned ears may notice that all of the versions of these songs, except "Oh Oh Oh" are slightly different from the mixes which appear on the actual album.

Smallville Soundtrack - Talon Mix (2003)

As a longtime fan of comic books, Kevin was thrilled when AM Radio was asked to contribute a track for the sountrack to the WB series, "Smallville." The show is based around the adolescent adventures of Clark Kent (i.e. Superman). AM Radio's song, "I Just Wanna Be Loved" was featured on the sountrack, and also appeared in an episode of the hit show. Tracks from Weezer, Ryan Adams, Phantom Planet, and The Flaming Lips are also included.

International Pop Overthrow Compilation, Volume 5 (2002)

AM Radio was invited to play at IPO Festival 2002 in Los Angeles, but were forced to cancel the show in favor of touring with Weezer in Japan. However, they were still able to contribute to the good people at IPO by contributing "You Saved My Life Last Night" to this very well-stocked compilation released by Not Lame Records in 2002.

To Benefit Petra Haden (2003)

AM Radio was asked by their friends at Gimetzco and Vegas Records to contribute to this special limited edition 7" for their friend Petra Haden. The guys were happy to provide a previously unreleased recording of "Becoming You", produced by Petra's former Rentals-bandmate, Rod Cervera. The double 7" set also includes tracks from Weezer, Ben Kweller, and Phantom Planet. The 7" is available at Hot Topic, indie record stores, and online at CC Now

It's A Sampler (2003)

This promotional CD featured AM Radio's "If This is the End of the World", as well as tracks from other great Elektra artists: Serafin, Jet, Steadman, and Year of the Rabbit. The sampler was distributed to clubs and retail outlets all over the country. Oh, and uh, in case you were wondering, we had nothing to do with the choice of artwork (although it is nicely done)...
